One of my favorite Bible passages is this one: In fact, sometimes God uses those very struggles in our lives to shape us and refine us. God doesn’t say everything will be easy, and he doesn’t say everything will be exactly as we humans plan. The Bible is filled with verses about healing, but it is also filled with stories of people walking through wilderness, challenges and afflictions. We often think that we have all the answers… that we know the perfect solution! If only God would just catch up and get on board!īut that’s not truth at all. THIS POST PROBABLY CONTAINS AFFILIATE LINKS. And sometimes, we think we have better ideas than God. The problem is, though, sometimes we get a little impatient while we wait for healing. It’s natural to question how God can help us when were struggling and suffering. There’s no one that’s immune from illness or injury, it’s just a matter of how we’re touched (or throttled) by those very things. There are many Bible verses about healing the body, and we’ll get to them further into the post. Often, the first thing we need to do when we’re searching for healing is to turn to the Bible. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.Does God still heal today? This question is heard around the world, and often, this is the very question that echoes in our own hearts when we (or a loved one) are struggling with illness. “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. “Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.” ~ 3 John 1:2ġ4. “Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.” ~ Jeremiah 33:6ġ3. Peace, peace, to those far and near,” says the LORD. “I have seen their ways, but I will heal them I will guide them and restore comfort to Israel’s mourners, creating praise on their lips. Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish. “You restored me to health and let me live. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.” ~ 2 Chronicles 7:14-15ġ0. “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD” ~ Jeremiah 30:17ĩ. I will strengthen you and help you I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” ~ Isaiah 41:10Ĩ. “So do not fear, for I am with you do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will take away sickness from among you…” Exodus 23:25ħ. “Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. “Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.” ~ Jeremiah 17:14Ħ. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” ~ John 14:27Ģ. “Peace I leave with you my peace I give you. Miraculous healings still happen today! Use these Bible verses on healing to pray for your physical and spiritual health today.ġ. The Scriptures show us that God has the power to heal us from any kind of diseases, both physical and spiritual. God wants us to be in good health and serve him faithfully. Healing is God’s plan for those who believe in his name.
